Alice Gieselman

Alice Catherine Gieselman, daughter of John and Alma (Drewes) Gieselman, was born October 24, 1951 in Morris , Minnesota . She grew up in Morris and attended the Stone Schoolhouse for special education with Miss Dorothy Zinda as her teacher. After her schooling, Alice attended the DAC until the present time. She lived in Morris with her mother for thirty-two years until moving into the Kooda/Heartwood Home with her family. She lives at the Kooda/Heartwood Home for twenty-five years.

Alice died on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris , Minnesota , having lived to reach the age of 57 years.

Alice was a life long member of Assumption Catholic Church. She enjoyed coloring, animals especially cats, music and spending time with her family and friends at Heartwood Home. She was known for saying, “I like you.”

She is survived by two brothers Don (Bonnie) Gieselman of Donnelly and George Gieselman of Virginia Beach, VA; six nieces and nephews: Brian (Laura) Gieselman of Goodyear, AZ, Amy (Curt) Anderson of Borup, Lori (Mark) Madden of Corcoran, Paul (Jackie) Gieselman of Rifle, CO, Katie (Jeff) Drewiske of Chesapeake, VA and Michael Gieselman of Virginia Beach, VA; and 6 great grand nieces and grand nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister-in-law: Biz Gieselman.
