Beverly Voss

Beverly Kay Tysdal, daughter of Laverna Tysdal, was born July 19, 1947 in Paynesville, Minnesota. Beverly grew up in the Ashby area, where she began her schooling. When she was seven, her family moved back to Paynesville, where she graduated from Paynesville High School. In 1964 she was united in marriage to Vernon Voss in Paynesville. The couple continued to live in Paynesville, where Beverly worked at Mike's Restaurant and cleaned at the post office. In 2002, the couple moved to Starbuck, where they have continue to make their home.





Beverly died on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris, having lived to reach the age of 59 years.





She is survived by her husband: Vernon Voss of Starbuck; one son: Todd Voss of Paynesville; one daughter: Mary Voss of Starbuck; one brother: Herman (Carla) Tysdal of Battle Lake; two sisters: Annie Meyer of St. Paul and Jolene (Victor) Distad of St. Paul Park and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister: Barbara Schoenherr.
