Gladys Huebner

Gladys Dorothy Wade, daughter of Einar and Ellen (Johnson) Wade, was born March 30, 1922 near Donnelly, Minnesota, where she grew up on the family farm. Gladys began her education at a rural school in the Donnelly area before attending the Alberta High School. After graduating in 1940, Gladys began working as a homemaker for various farm families in the area. On June 3, 1943, she was united in marriage to Lester Huebner at St. John's Lutheran Church in Donnelly. The couple made their home on a farm west of Donnelly, where they lived and farmed until 1979. At that time, they built a home in Donnelly, where they lived for the next 23 years. In 2002, they moved to a town home in Morris, where they have continued to live since that time.

Gladys was a long-time member of First Lutheran Church in Morris, where she was active in the Ladies Aid. She was also a member of the Donnelly All Tops Club.
