Funeral services for Jeanette Pedersen-Greiner of Morris will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cyrus with Minister Minette Stalheim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery in Morris.

Jeanette Marion Adolphson, daughter of George and Freida (Kruse) Adolphson, was born December 9, 1924 in Eldorado Township in Stevens County Minnesota. Jeanette grew up in rural Chokio, where she from Chokio High School in 1942. On September 9, 1945, Jeanette was united in marriage to Eugene Winfield Pedersen in Chokio. The couple lived and farmed on several farms in the Donnelly area, before settling in Pepperton Township in March, 1958. Jeanette helped Eugene around the farm until his retirement in 1984. She also cared for Eugene until the time of his death in 1996. After Eugene passed, Jeanette spent missionary time in Belize and Palestine; she also spent time traveling to many different places around the world. She later moved back to Morris, where she married John Greiner. The couple made their home in Morris. John died on March 12, 2012. Jeanette was a resident at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck at the time of her death.

Jeanette was known for her generous and caring personality. This led her to clean houses, work in Home Care and Hospice. Jeanette's faith was very important to her, where she was very active in her church and Aglow. Some of Jeanette's hobbies were gardening, fishing, visiting with family and friends, sewing and cooking.

Jeanette died on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck, having lived to reach the age of 89 years.

She is survived by four children: Karen (Gerald) Feuchtenberger, Lora Lee (Kristian) Thusholt, Dave (Donna) Pedersen, and Dale (Kathie) Pedersen; one son-in-law: Steve Chilcott; one brother: Earl Adolphson; three sisters: Dorothy Young, Laverne (Bill) Williams, and Margie Olson; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Eugene Pedersen; second husband: John Greiner; her daughter: Donna Chilcott; her parents; twin granddaughters; her great-grandson: Cameron Feuchtenberger; two sisters: Maxine Brandt and Arlene Mattson; one sister-in-law: Pat Adolphson; three brothers-in-law: Ray Brandt, John Young and Conrad Mattson and her grandson-in-law: David Schmidgall.

Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
