Luella Lewis

Luella (Lou) Rosamond Anderson Lewis was born on July 29, 1921, in Flaxville , Montana , to Frans and Mathilda (Peterson) Anderson. She grew up and attended school in Balaton , MN . On September 25, 1945, she was united in marriage to Raymond R. Lewis of Spicer, MN. The couple lived in Murdock, Norcross and Hancock , MN , and retired to Prescott Valley , AZ , in 1988. Lou moved back to Morris in 2002.

Luella (Lou) Rosamond Anderson Lewis passed away on Monday, March 15, 2010, at her home in Morris. She lived to reach the age of 88.

She is survived by her children: Pat Perrizo of Arvada, CO; Connie (Joe) Kalin of Maplewood, MN; Kim (Mike) Schultz of Morris; and Jim (Patty) Lewis of Arizona City, AZ; six grandchildren: Sean Perrizo, Stacia Perrizo, Patrick (Becky) Kalin, Ryan (Becky) Kalin, Dayna Schultz and Evan Schultz and two great-grandchildren: Ethan Kalin and Elise Kalin. She is also survived by two sisters, Pearl Rupp of Pipestone, MN; and Opal Jensen of Greeley, CO; two brothers: Leon Anderson of Balaton and Selmer (Macky) Anderson of Litchfield, MN; sisters-in-law, Bernice Anderson of Slayton, MN, and Doris Swart of Spicer, MN; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; one brother, Vernon ; and one son-in-law, Dick Perrizo.

Honorary pallbearers are all of Lou’s grandchildren. Cheryl Rempel will serve as organist for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of arrangements.
