Lynn Anderson

Lynn Alan Anderson, son of Carl and Arliene (Maynard) Anderson, was born August 8, 1950 in Benson, Minnesota. He attended and graduated from Chokio-Alberta High School. Following his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Army. He served in Germany, Korea, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Texas. He received an honorable discharge after serving for 22 years. Following his discharge he returned to Morris, where he has lived since that time.



Lynn enjoyed fishing, camping, feeding the ducks on Lake Crystal and visiting with the residents at West Wind Village.



Lynn died on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at the V.A. Medical Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, having lived to reach the age of 55 years.



He is survived by three daughters: Meredith (Ethan) Jamieson and their children, Courtney and Morgan of Redding CA, Lori (Don) Garnder and their children, June, Samantha and Gary of Colorado Springs, CO and Amanda (Steve) Sambrano and their son, Luke of Colorado Springs, CO; parents: Carl and Arliene Anderson of Morris; twin sister: Linda Anderson of Crystal; sisters: Carleen (Olyn) Wernsing of Morris, Diana (David) Ferris of Maple Grove and Brigitta (David) Hogfoss of Las Vegas, NV; brothers: David C. (Ruth) Anderson of Chokio and Paul Anderson of Fargo, ND; special friends: Janette Brown of Morris and Mary Pawlicki of Crystal and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.



Pallbearers for the service are: Members of the Chokio American Legion. Julene Amborn will serve as organist for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
