Myron Riley

Myron James Riley, son of Edward and Harriett (Becker) Riley, was born August 9, 1943 in Morris, Minnesota. Myron grew up in Donnelly and Morris and attended and graduated from Morris High School in 1961. On November 20, 1965, he was united in marriage to Janet Chavis. To this union two children were born, Eric and Dyane. Myron continued his education at the Duluth Technical College, graduating in 1980 with a degree in Design Engineering. He began working for the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the next 24 years. Myron enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.

Myron died on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at his home in Hancock, MN, having lived to reach the age of 65 years.

He is survived by his wife: Janet Riley of Hancock; two children: Eric (Jen) Riley of Dilworth and Dyane (John) Trowbridge of Morris; four grandsons: James Riley, Jeremy Riley, Jayden Riley and Jesse Trowbridge and one brother: Merle Riley of Coon Rapids.

Tom and Pearl Horning will provide special music for the service. Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, Minnesota is in charge of the arrangements.
