Funeral services for Dale Beyer of Morris, MN will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, with Reverend Wayne Kopitzke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Graceville Consolidated Cemetery in Graceville.
Dale Ralph Beyer was born on July 29, 1937, in Holloway, Minnesota, to Elmer and Laura (Melchert) Beyer. Dale attended Country School through 8th grade and continued Ag School through most of 11th grade. He left school to help his father on the family farm.
On February 6, 1959, Dale enlisted in the National Guard. He proudly served his country as a sharpshooter and cook and received an honorable discharge on February 5, 1961.
Dale was united in marriage to Joyce Kenyon on October 2, 1959, in Morris, Minnesota. Their union was blessed with four children, and together they built a life centered on faith, hard work, and family.
In the early 1960s, Dale and Joyce moved to the Graceville area, where Dale worked for farmer until 1976. He and his family relocated to Morris, where he worked on building truck boxes, doing mechanical and welding at Arvid Beyer Truck Shop. During the mid-1980s he then continued his career as a mechanic at Lembcke's Garage through mid-1990’s. In 1992, Dale and Joyce made their home in the Donnelly area.
Dale was known for his strong work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, restoring John Deere tractors, playing cards and sharing stories with family and friends. Above all else, Dale treasured his family and the time he spent with those he loved.
Dale passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sanford in Fargo, ND; with his family by his side; he was 88 years old.
He is survived by his children, Melanie (Alan) Recker, Timothy (Jean) Beyer, Catherine (James) Wente, and Wendy (Robert) Hennen; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; siblings, Arvid (Mary) Beyer, Milton (Audree) Beyer, Gladwin (Pam) Beyer, Arlene (Don) Farver, and Bruce Beyer; sisters-in-law; Evie Beyer, Dorraine Beyer, Cheryl Kenyon; brothers-in-law: Rollie Schnizel and Jim Fermoyle; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joyce Beyer; his parents, Elmer and Laura Beyer; and his brothers: Earl Beyer, Eilert Beyer; sisters: Chrystille Schnizel, Lynette Fermoyle, Diane Beyer; and nephew Boyd Beyer; sisters-in-law: Arlene Kenyon and Connie Kenyon; brothers-in-law: Ronnie Kenyon and Eddie Kenyon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Arvid Beyer, Milton Beyer, Gladwin Beyer, Arlene Farver, and Bruce Beyer.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS THE FAMILY PREFERS MEMORIALS TO THE AMERICAN HEART OR KIDNEY ASSOCIATION.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in care of the arrangements for Dale.
