The funeral for Danny Mesenbrink, of Hancock, Minnesota will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Morris, with Reverend Carlton Anderson officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Summit Cemetery, Morris.

Danny Lynn Mesenbrink, son of Archie and Ada Mae (Marquart) Mesenbrink was born on October 26, 1951 in Morris, Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm south of Morris and graduated from Morris High School in 1970. Danny worked on the family farm and helped his parents with their farming operation. Later, Danny made his home in Hancock, working as a farm laborer for many area farmers and doing miscellaneous jobs for many in the local area. At the time of his death, Danny was working with Carter Charles on his farm near Hancock.

Danny enjoyed going for drives across the countryside and was an excellent trapper of pocket gophers. He was a hard worker, always willing to help out.

Danny died on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris having lived to reach the age of 65.

He is survived by one sister: Ardith (David) Ampe, Paynesville, MN; one niece: Rachel Ampe, Bloomington, MN; his aunts and uncles: Elvera Marquart, Montevideo, MN, Gary (Rusty) Marquart, Hancock, MN and Margie Mesenbrink, Glenwood, MN; and many cousins. Danny was preceded in death by his parents.
