Jean Gates

Jean Aimee Tharaldson Gates, 79 of Benton, Arkansas died Tuesday, July 29, 2008. She was born January 11, 1929 in Starbuck, MN to the late Ole and Alice (Olson) Tharaldson. In addition to her parents, her sister Irene Kowitz, brother-in-law Robert Olson, and sister-in -law June Tharaldson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Hiram Gates, Jr. of Benton; son, Paul Gates and wife Ann of Faribault, MN; daughter, CaryAn Dearing and husband Cole of Chandler, AZ; sisters, Marjorie Olson of Mora, MN, Vicky Hegman and husband Jay of Lino Lakes, MN; brothers Omer Tharaldson of Minneapolis, MN, Ernie Tharaldson and wife Kathi of Graceville, MN, Harbee Tharaldson and wife Sandy of Story, WY, Donovan Tharaldson and wife Marlene of New London, MN, Delan Tharaldson of Minneapolis, MN, Lynn Tharaldson and wife Rosie of Lakeville, MN, Lon Tharaldson and wife Ruth of Belle Plain, MN; sister-in-law, Janice Ross and husband Duane of Ocean Park, WA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Kowitz of Clear Lake, MN; 44 nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
