Joan McCollar

Memorial services for Joan McCollar of Morris, MN will be Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the West Wind Village Chapel in Morris, with Deacon Stan Hennen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at West Wind Village on Friday.

Joan grew up in Chokio, Minnesota and moved to Morris, Minnesota after her marriage to Wallace McCollar.

Joan died on Friday, June 8, 2108 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. She was 77 years old.

Joan is survived by her three children, Theresa (McCollar) O’Malley, Robert McCollar and Mark McCollar.  She also has three grandchildren, Meghan (O’Malley) Baumann, Daniel O’Malley and Patrick O’Malley as well as two great-grandchildren, Will Baumann and Cassidy Baumann.  Joan’s siblings include Richard Carlson, Julie (Carlson) Kulpa, Kim Carlson, Laurie (Carlson) Marlowe and Peg (Carlson) Geller. She was preceded in death by her father Glen Carlson and mother Rose (Leuthard) Carlson.

Joan's family would like to personally thank all of the staff at West Wind Village for all of the wonderful care for her.
