Joyce Elaine Hauglund, was born December 22, 1959 to Harry and Darlene (Giese) Hauglund in Morris, Minnesota. Joyce was baptized in January, 1960 at Synnes Church and was confirmed on June 1, 1975 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alberta. She attended Chokio-Alberta Schools, graduating in 1978. On October 6, 1982, she was united in marriage to Richard Kramer. The couple made their home in the Alberta area, where they raised their daughter, Rachel. In the summer of 2008, Rick and Joyce moved to Montana for a few years, before moving to Wyoming to be closer to their daughter, Rachel and her family.

Over Joyce’s lifetime, she spent many hours, feeding people, whether it was at the Alberta Café; or with the Willies gang or the hundreds of kids at the school. She was always smiling and warm. Many likely recall her famous caramel rolls.

Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking/baking, reading, fishing, riding horse, being outside and singing in the choir. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Joyce died on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at her home in Parkman, WY, after a courageous battle with ALS; she was 63 years old.

She is survived by her husband: Richard Kramer of Parkman, WY; her daughter: Rachel (Paul) Reinholz of Parkman, WY; her step-children: Adam (Danette) Kramer of Otsego and Trina Kramer of New Hope; three grandchildren: John Paul Reinholz III (JP), Penny Elizabeth Reinholz and Olivia Elaine Reinholz of Parkman, WY; her step-grandchildren: Milah Kramer and Sully Kramer of Otsego; her siblings: Janette Brown of Morris, Joanne (Steve) Maijala of Delano, James (JoAnne) Hauglund of Webster City, IA and Jenifer (Scott) Thompson of Lowry; mother-in-law: Joyce Kramer of Morris and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
