Kimberly Jean Hoberg

Kimberly Hoberg passed away on Monday, June 29th, 2026, at the age of 38. Kimberly Jean Hoberg was born April 5th, 1988 to Floyd and Bonnie (Kurkosky) Hoberg. She was enthusiastically welcomed by four older brothers not only as the baby of the family, but also as the first and only girl.

Kimberly was raised on a farmstead in rural Kensington where she enjoyed playing outdoors and trying to keep up with her brothers.

Kimberly attended West Central Area Schools in Kensington and Barrett where she graduated in 2006.

In her adult life, she worked in various roles in the service/restaurant industry where she made lifelong connections with her regulars and long-lasting friendships. Kimberly’s sweet disposition, kindness and wonderful sense of humor made everyone around her at ease and always brightened people’s day.

In 2016, Kimberly gave birth to her “sunshine”, her beloved daughter, AnnMarie Jaymes Hoberg. Being the best mom to her daughter was truly Kimberly’s greatest accomplishment.

Outside of that, Kimberly prided herself on being a Hoberg and loved her family fiercely. Kimberly was always the life of the party and the one to go out of her way to make someone feel welcome, loved and special. She will forever be remembered by those whose hearts she touched with her everlasting joy, warmth and humor.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her Grandma Pricilla, niece Frankie Jo, and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

Kimberly is survived by her beloved daughter, AnnMarie, her parents, Floyd and Bonnie, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Duwayne (Kim), Tony (Sara), Chris (Megan), and Tim (Ashley), her cherished nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and of course all of the friends she touched and held near and dear to her heart.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
