The celebration of life visitation for Kyle James Kjenstad, of Fargo, North Dakota formerly of Morris, Minnesota will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the American Legion Club in Morris.

Kyle James Kjenstad, son of Michael and Doris (Hickman) Kjenstad was born on September 17, 1972 in Morris, Minnesota. He moved with his family to Montana during his middle school days, returning to Minnesota in 1988. Kyle became a father in 1991 to Joille Kjenstad. He worked as a laborer for multiple jobs throughout his life; he was recently employed at Knife River Materials in Fargo. Kyle was a wrencher, who could fix anything and loved working on cars and bikes with his friends. He also enjoyed the shooting range, golf, spending time with his grandson, Jamison, and listening to music. He was a member of "The Chive of North Dakota", a charity group that strives to help people in need. Kyle will be remembered for being adventurous and having a heart of gold; he took pride in enjoying the simple things in life.

Kyle died on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at his home in Fargo, North Dakota. He was 43 years old.

He is survived by his daughter, Joille Kjenstad; his grandson, Jamison Kjenstad; his father, Michael Kjenstad; his grandmother, Florence Kjenstad; one sister, Jana Scheelk, one brother, Daren Bengtson; one niece, Jasmin Bengston; and several aunts and uncles. Kyle was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Kjenstad, one nephew, Jamie Scheelk, and his grandfather, Herb Kjenstad.
He will be forever in the hearts of friends and family. Chive on!
