Lynette “Lenni” Kay Fermoyle, 74, of Barrett, MN, passed away peacefully at the Barrett Care Center, on Saturday, November 29, 2025. She was born on July 16, 1951, in Morris, MN, to loving parents Elmer and Laura (Melchert) Beyer.

Lenni was raised on her parent’s farm in Morris and was born one of eleven siblings. She attended elementary school in Morris before becoming the first class to graduate from the new high school in 1969. On February 19, 1972, Lenni married James “Jim” Fermoyle at Faith Lutheran Church, in Morris. At that time, the couple made their home in Wahpeton, ND, where they were blessed with their first child, Jimmy. In June of 1974, they moved to Morris, settling into what would become their forever home—a place filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. It was there, in 1979, that their family grew once more with the birth of their daughter, Heather, completing the loving household they treasured throughout the years.

Lenni spent several years working as a cashier at First Federal Bank before joining Willie’s Supervalu, where she truly found joy in greeting and visiting with customers. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and valued. Lenni loved people—her warm and friendly presence, quick sense of humor, and unforgettable hugs brought comfort and happiness to everyone who knew her. Family was the most important part of Lenni’s life, she loved and adored her children, who blessed her with 5 grandchildren who then gave her 4 great-grandchildren. All of which were the true light of Lenni’s life!

Aside from her deep love for her family, Lenni had a few passions that defined her life. She was a devoted Vikings fan who rarely missed a game. Lenni also loved music, especially the classic sounds of Charley Pride, Conway Twitty, and Johnny Cash. Her hugs, her smile, and simply her presence will be deeply missed by the family who cherished her so much.

Left to mourn her passing are her spouse, Jim Fermoyle; Son, Jimmy (Sheri) Fermoyle, of Alexandria, MN; Daughter, Heather (Loren) Gades, of Morris; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; Brother’s and Sister’s: Arvid Beyer (Mary Robertson), Milton (Audree) Beyer, Dale Beyer, Arlene (Don) Farver; Glad (Pam) Beyer; and Bruce Beyer; two sisters-in-law, Evie and Dorraine Beyer; and brother-in-law, Rolly Schinzel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Laura Beyer; an adored and beloved Grandson, James Gades; Siblings: Earl Beyer, Eilert Beyer, Chrystille Schinzel, Diane Beyer, and a sister-in-law, Joyce Beyer.

God bless the memory of Lenni Fermoyle. Her love, laughter, and kindness touched everyone who knew her, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
