Funeral Services for Nancy L. Miller of Morris will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Starbuck. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12th at Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and will continue at church on Friday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Morris.
Nancy Lou Anderson was an only child born during an ice storm on January 1, 1964, in Starbuck, Minnesota the daughter of Lyle and Lois (Miller) Anderson. She grew up in the Cyrus area and attended school in Cyrus graduating from Cyrus High School in 1982. She continued her education at Willmar Technical College and received a degree in bookkeeping.
Nancy married Jeffrey Michael Miller on September 23, 1989, at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. The couple made their home in Morris where they resided at the time of her death.
Nancy’s work career began in the office at the Cyrus Elevator and the Cyrus Café. She then began working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at West Wing Village in Morris and had the honor of working with her mother. She retired from the nursing home in 2024.
She was proud of her Cyrus Panthers, enjoyed softball, bingo, crafting, traveling, casino trips and road trips with her father. As an only child, Nancy’s marriage to Jeffrey gained her the brothers and sisters she didn’t have. Therefore, her nieces and nephews were very special to her and she cherished each one of them.
Nancy died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, February 9, 2026, in her home. She was 62 years old.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Miller of Morris; her in-laws, Joenne (Craig) Schmidgall of Morris, Mary (Kevin) Phelan of Plymouth, Judy Taylor of Morris, Bob (Darla) Miller of Elbow Lake, Jeanne (Dan) Koehntop of Donnelly, Ann (Mark) Vipond of Norcross, Marilyn Miller of Otsego; cousin, Karen Anderson of Alexandria and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Lois Anderson and sister-in-law, Colleen Miller.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Courage Cottage, West Wind Village Activities or donor’s choice.
Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in care of the arrangements for Nancy.
