Memorial services for Peter Fahje of Starbuck will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck with visitation one hour prior.

Peter Jay Fahje was born on September 8, 1967, in Starbuck, Minnesota the son of Arthur and Joyce (Nelson) Fahje. He grew up in Starbuck and graduated from Starbuck High School in 1986. He enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard and received an honorable discharge.

Peter worked at DyCast Specialties Corporation for many years. He also worked at the Starbuck Iron Company.

Peter was blessed with a son, Tad and two daughters, Kansas and Jessie from his first marriage. He later married Jo Schroeder at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Starbuck, on June 3, 1994.

Peter enjoyed watching TV, word search puzzles, feeding the birds and wildlife off his deck and especially loved his cats. He had a positive outlook on everything in life, even during his cancer journey.

Peter passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was 58 years old.

Peter is survived by his wife, Jo of Starbuck; daughters, Kansas (Richard) Buckhaus of Hankinson, ND and Jessie (Timothy Heldenbrand, Jr.) Fahje of Morris; siblings, Lynnette Fahje, Sandy (Dave Johns) Fahje and Linda (DeWayne) Mix all of Starbuck and Sheryl Fahje of Cocoa, FL; grandchildren, Deveahya Askin, Rayne Heldenbrand, Storm Heldenbrand, River Heldenbrand, Meadow Heldenbrand, Evelyn Buckhaus, Ember Buckhaus, Finn Buckhaus and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tad; parents, Arthur and Joyce; brothers, Clayton Fahje, Arlo Fahje; sister, Arlys Fahje; niece, Erica Johns and nephew, Nikki Fahje.

The Starbuck Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements for Peter.
