Solveigh Anderson

February 22, 1939 — October 17, 2010

A private family service will be held for Sally Anderson at a later date.

On October 17, 2010, at the age of 71, Solveigh "Sally" Anderson entered the sweet beyond, a beautiful place filled with love, peace and harmony.

She was born on February 22, 1939, the daughter of Florella "Alice" and Glenn Hanson. She grew up with her beloved sister Sondra "Sandy" Hanson in Dawson MN.

As a child, Sally became a talented piano player and sang with a voice as beautiful as her heart. She was also very artistic and loved to draw and sketch. After high school, Sally married Roger Tollakson of Dawson and to this union three children were born, Scott, Nora and Jack. After the dissolution of her marriage, Sally attended the University of MN, Morris. There she met and later married Myron Anderson to which was born a beautiful daughter, Claudia. In 1980, Sally moved to Lake Artichoke near Appleton, MN, where she resided until the final days of her life.

Sally held a heart of gold. She loved all animals and saved the lives of many over the years. She was known as "mom" to many of her children's friends. One of her passions was politics and kept up with political news and current events on a daily basis. She and her husband donated to many charitable organizations to alleviate suffering in the world. Sally was a selfless person, always caring about the well being of others.

She is survived by her husband, Myron of Appleton; children: Scott Tollakson of St. Cloud, Nora Hanson (Douglas Rhoads) of Donnelly and Jack (Kay) Tollakson of Morris; grandchildren: Joshua (Amanda) Johnshoy, Glenn Tollakson and Fritz Spohr and one great grandchild: Logan Johnshoy. Sister: Sondra Hanson; nieces: Hannah and Paula. She will also be greatly missed by her favorite cat Martha and her dog Sunshine. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Claudia.
