Susan Anagnost

August 13, 1951 — May 25, 2020

Morris

Susan (Sue) Wang Anagnost passed away May 25, 2020, at her home in Morris, MN, after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.

Sue was born to Billy and Dalene (Rasch) Battagler on August 13, 1951, in Mayville, ND.  She was baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church. She grew up and attended school in Hunter, ND. Following high school, Sue attended North Dakota State University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  For many years Sue ran a daycare out of her Fargo home while raising her family.  Later she became a consultant with Healthland in Glenwood, MN, spending much of her time on the road installing software and training application users. When she traveled the country for Healthland, Sue was able to see many sights and meet many new people, both of which she enjoyed very much.  Sue was united in marriage to Daniel Anagnost on February 14, 2009.  They made their home in Morris, MN.

Sue was a voracious reader who also appreciated an afternoon of shopping, especially for shoes.  She was always happy for any opportunity to travel, especially to Mexico.  Watching Bison football was a favorite pastime; she also devoted years to serving on Fargo youth baseball committees.   Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-nieces, and her beloved cats.

Sue is survived by her husband Dan of Morris; two children: Amber (Kim) Seibel of Spring Branch, TX, and Brandon Wang of Covent, LA; two step-children: Scott (Genevieve) Anagnost of Audubon, MN, and Nicholas (Kim) Anagnost of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren: Alyssa Seibel, Kade Seibel, Kellon Wang, Olivia Anagnost and Aiden Anagnost; her father Billy Battagler of Hunter, ND; two sisters: Darla (Kim) Burich of Sturgis, SD, and Donna (Duane) Kiehl of West Fargo, ND, and one brother Jerry (Bev) Battagler of Hunter, ND.  She was preceded in death by her mother Dalene Battagler.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mayo Clinic for the wonderful care over the years.  Private services will be held at a later date.
